100 Lessons for Life (Most of which I’m still learning)

100 Lessons for Life (Most of which I’m still learning)

by Randy Nabors

LIFE LESSONS:

1. IF YOU HAVE TO WALK BACKWARDS, LOOK FIRST. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR MIRRORS BEFORE YOU VEER OR CHANGE LANES.

2. IF YOU DON’T LOOK WHERE YOU ARE GOING THE THINGS IN YOUR WAY ARE NOT LIKELY TO GET OUT OF YOUR WAY; YOU WILL HURT YOURSELF AND YOUR CHILDREN WILL LAUGH AT YOU WHILE YOU TRY NOT TO CURSE OR CRY.

3. FACEBOOK IS ONE OF THE GREATEST THINGS EVER INVENTED.

4. FACEBOOK IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS EVER INVENTED.

5. MISSING THE NEWS FOR A DAY, WEEK, OR MONTH DOESN’T USUALLY HURT YOU.

6. MOST OF THE WORLD WILL NOT MISS YOUR POLITICAL OPINION.

7. IF YOU THINK OF GIVING SOME RACIAL, ETHNIC, OR GENDER EXPLANATION TO SOME EVENT, DON’T SAY IT OUTLOUD AND RECONSIDER YOUR IDEA.

8. ANYTHING YOU SAY ON A PHONE, OR WRITE ON A TEXT, EMAIL, OR ANYWHERE WILL PROBABLY BE USED AGAINST YOU – SO TRY NOT TO WRITE STUPID OR EVIL STUFF.

9. YOU DON’T HAVE TO ANSWER EVERY PHONE CALL, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON’T RECOGNIZE THE NUMBER.

10. EVERYONE ELSE THINKS THEIR EMAIL DESERVES A FASTER RESPONSE THAN YOU THINK IT DOES.

11. CERTAIN GENERATIONS WILL IGNORE YOUR PHONE CALL, WHILE HOLDING THE PHONE IN THEIR HAND, BUT WILL IMMEDIATELY RESPOND TO A TEXT.

12. DON’T PUT YOUR FINGER OVER THE LENS WHEN YOU TAKE A PICTURE AND LATER WONDER WHAT THAT PINKISH WHITE OBJECT IS OBSCURING THE PHOTO.

13. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR GUN HAND FREE.

14. DON’T CARRY A GUN.

15. IF YOU HAVE A GUN ASSUME IT IS ALWAYS LOADED, ASSUME LITTLE CHILDREN WILL GET A HOLD OF IT, AND ASSUME THAT IF YOUR WIFE IS MAD ENOUGH, SHE WILL USE IT ON YOU.

16. WHEN CHOOSING A SEAT IN A RESTAURANT ALWAYS SIT FACING THE DOOR.

17. AFTER CHOOSING YOUR SEAT BE PREPARED FOR YOUR WIFE TO MAKE YOU MOVE TO ANOTHER TABLE.

18. GUNSHOTS REQUIRE DUCKING FOR COVER, NOT STANDING UP AND LOOKING AROUND TO SEE WHO IS DOING THE SHOOTING.

19. DEFEND WOMEN, CHILDREN AND THE HELPLESS.

20. IF YOU BUY AND OWN A HOUSE, AND YOU ARE MARRIED, IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU ACTUALLY HAVE AUTHORITY OVER. IT IS NOT THE KITCHEN, IT IS NOT THE BEDROOM, IT IS NOT THE LIVING ROOM, IT IS NOT THE BATHROOM, IT IS NOT ANYTHING HANGING ON THE WALLS OR ANY OF THE FURNITURE, AND NOT EVEN WHERE THEY ARE PLACED.

21. IF YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFT IS CRITICISM NO ONE WILL TRULY APPRECIATE IT.

22. YOU ARE THE GUARDIAN OF THE SELF-ESTEEM OF THE WOMEN IN YOUR HOUSE. YOUR WORDS CAN BUILD THEM UP OR TEAR THEM DOWN, SO WORK ON POSITIVE COMPLIMENTS AND ENCOURAGEMENT.

23. WOMEN HAVE MAGICAL POWERS. A MAN CAN SEARCH FOR HIS KEYS, GLASSES, AND WALLET BUT NOT FIND THEM. IF YOU ASK A WOMAN TO LOOK SHE WILL COME RIGHT OUT WITH IT. THEIR SECRET IS THAT THEY ACTUALLY PICK STUFF UP AND LOOK UNDER IT. LAZINESS PREVENTS MEN FROM HAVING THIS MAGICAL POWER.

24. IF YOU AGGRAVATE PEOPLE OR ANIMALS DON’T BE SURPRISED IF THEY ATTACK YOU

25. MOST PEOPLE ENJOY SMART ASS COMMENTS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE, NO ONE LIKES A SMART-ASS TARGETED AT THEM.

26. NEVER FLASH YOUR CASH IN PUBLIC.

27. THERE IS SELDOM A REASON TO CONTINUE TO WEAR UNDERWEAR OR SOCKS WITH HOLES IN THEM. WHAT WILL THEY SAY ABOUT YOU IF THEY HAVE TO TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF IN THE HOSPITAL?

28. IF YOU ARE A RUNNER OR A WALKER CONTINUING TO WEAR BAD SHOES IS A BAD DECISION.

BAD ASSUMPTIONS:

29. THAT EVERY STALL YOU SIT IN WILL BE SUPPLIED WITH PAPER.

30. THAT SINCE YOU NEVER GET STOPPED BY THE COPS THE DAY YOU DON’T HAVE YOUR WALLET WITH YOU WILL BE LIKE EVERY OTHER DAY.

31. THAT THERE WON’T BE A TRAFFIC COP OVER THE HILL OR AROUND THE CURVE, ESPECIALLY WHILE SPEEDING ON THE INTERSTATE IN VIRGINIA.

32. THAT THE PEOPLE YOU GOSSIP ABOUT WON’T FIND OUT THE SOURCE OF IT.

33. THAT SINCE YOU DON’T GET SICK AND HAVEN’T HAD AN ACCIDENT YOU WON’T NEED INSURANCE.

34. THAT YOU WILL HAVE TIME TO MAKE UP FOR THE LAST BITING WORDS YOU SAID TO SOMEONE YOU LOVE.

ABOUT MONEY:

35. IF YOU ARE NOT DILIGENT ABOUT KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR MONEY (WHAT IS COMING IN VERSUS WHAT IS GOING OUT) THEN MONEY WILL BE DILIGENT ABOUT FLYING AWAY.

36. PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME, PAY AHEAD ON YOUR LOANS. IF YOU CAN’T PAY A BILL ON TIME, TELL THE ONES YOU OWE SO THEY DON’T HAVE TO CALL YOU.

37. BEING BROKE AND NOT HAVING MONEY CAN MAKE YOU AFRAID, AND FEAR CAN TEMPT YOU TO DO STUPID THINGS.

38. EVEN THOUGH YOU MIGHT BE WORKING AS BEST YOU CAN, THE GOOD THING ABOUT BEING BROKE AND NOT HAVING MONEY IS THAT IT MAKES YOU PRAY.

39. IT IS BETTER TO PRAY THAN TO WORRY. DON’T ASSUME THAT JUST BECAUSE YOU DON’T KNOW WHERE IT COULD COME FROM THAT GOD CAN’T MAKE IT HAPPEN.

40. IT IS BETTER TO SAVE AND BUY THAN TO BORROW AND BUY.

41. WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO ABOUT YOUR FINANCES (A LACK OF INCOME AND TOO MANY BILLS) GO FIND SOMEONE WHO IS GOOD WITH MONEY AND ASK THEM TO HELP YOU FIGURE A WAY OUT.

42. IF YOU NEED A LOAN OR TO REFINANCE ALWAYS SHOP FOR RATES AND COSTS.

43. NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WORK, BUDGET, OR INVEST THERE IS THIS REALITY FOR GOD’S PEOPLE; MONEY COMES FROM GOD! HE LOVES YOU AND HE WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.

44. NEITHER HUSBAND NOR WIFE HAVE A RIGHT TO MAKE UNILATERAL DECISIONS THAT WILL OBLIGATE THE OTHER.

45. ALWAYS TITHE. THINK ABOUT WAYS TO BE GENEROUS TO FAMILY, FRIENDS, MINISTRIES AND PEOPLE IN NEED. GIVE AND GIVE AGAIN, AND DON’T RESENT IT.

46. NEVER HIDE FINANCIAL TROUBLE FROM YOUR WIFE, KEEP HER INFORMED.

47. WORK HARD TO HELP YOUR WIFE KNOW WHAT YOU DO AND DO NOT HAVE. WHAT TO DO, AND HOW TO DO IT, IF YOU SHOULD PRECEDE HER IN DEATH.

48. THE ONLY SURPRISES YOUR WIFE AND KIDS SHOULD HAVE AFTER YOU DIE ARE GOOD ONES.

MINISTRY AND LEADERSHIP:

49. IF YOU ARE TOLD SOMEONE IS SICK, IN HOSPITAL, OR DYING GO SEE THEM QUICK. SOONER IS BETTER THAN LATER AS LATER MAY BE TOO LATE.

50. VISITING PEOPLE IS EASIER TO DO IF YOU TAKE SOMEONE WITH YOU. IT MODELS MINISTRY, ENCOURAGES THEM AND YOURSELF. BESIDES, THE PEOPLE YOU VISIT MAY LIKE THEM MORE THAN THEY LIKE YOU.

51. IF PEOPLE INVITE YOU TO LUNCH OR TO GO OUT, AND THEY WISH TO TAKE THE CHECK, DON’T ARGUE WITH THEM.

52. TRY NEVER TO LET STUDENTS, ENLISTED PERSONNEL, OR THE POOR PAY FOR YOU, UNLESS YOU KNOW IT MEANS SOMETHING TO THEM TO DO IT.

53. BE LAST NOT FIRST. ALWAYS BE APPRECIATIVE WHEN CHURCH MEMBERS PREPARE YOU A PLATE OR INSIST ON SEATING YOU FIRST, TRY NEVER TO BE FIRST BUT RATHER IN THE SERVING LINE. UNLESS YOU ARE A GUEST AT A BLACK CHURCH, THEN JUST DO AS YOU ARE TOLD.

54. NEVER “POOR MOUTH” FROM THE PULPIT SO AS TO MANIPULATE PEOPLE TO GIVE YOU PRIVATE GIFTS. IF YOU CAN’T MEET YOUR NEEDS TELL THE LEADERS OF THE CHURCH.

55. TRY NEVER TO HAVE FINANCIAL AUTHORITY IN YOUR OWN CHURCH. DON’T HAVE DIRECT ACCESS TO THE MONEY.

56. DON’T YELL AT PEOPLE. YOUR AUTHORITY IS NOT ENHANCED BY BEING OR BY BEING SEEN AS A BULLY.

57. LEADERSHIP IS NOT ENHANCED BY HUMILIATING PEOPLE.

58. IF YOU ARE IN CHARGE AND THINGS GO WRONG BE MAN ENOUGH TO PUBLICLY ACCEPT THE BLAME. IN PRIVATE FIND OUT WHAT HAPPENED AND THEN CORRECT IT. IF THINGS GO WELL GIVE EVERYONE ELSE THE CREDIT.

59. LISTENING TO OTHERS GIVES YOU INFLUENCE. LEADERS ARE EXPECTED TO KNOW WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE, BUT HUMILITY WILL HELP YOU LEARN WHAT THAT MIGHT BE.

60. LEARN HOW TO BE SELF-DEPRECATING AND HOW TO TAKE A JOKE. IF YOU CAN’T LAUGH AT YOURSELF OR ALLOW OTHERS TO LAUGH AT YOU WILL SET YOURSELF UP TO FEEL INSULTED.

61. PASTORS HAVE AUTHORITY BUT WE ARE NOT AUTHORITIES ON EVERY SUBJECT, LEARN TO PUBLICLY ADMIT YOUR LIMITATIONS.

62. SOME PEOPLE HATE AUTHORITY AND WILL NOT RESPECT YOUR OFFICE, OR YOU, BUT THEY STILL NEED IT. BE READY FOR RESISTANCE AND REJECTION BUT TRY NOT TO TAKE IT PERSONALLY, AND BE KIND.

63. SOME PEOPLE GIVE PASTORS MORE AUTHORITY THAN THEY DESERVE, AND YOUR ADVICE AND OPINION WILL BE TAKEN ALMOST AS A WORD FROM HEAVEN-SO BE CAREFUL, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE TO REPROVE OR REBUKE PEOPLE, DO IT WITH PATIENCE AND INSTRUCTION, AND LET YOUR GENTLENESS BE EVIDENT.

64. IF YOU ARE AN OFFICER, OR IN CHARGE, ALWAYS LISTEN TO SGTS AND NCOS, OR THOSE IN MID-LEVEL MANAGEMENT. THEY HAVE THE EXPERIENCE AND YOU WILL GAIN THEIR RESPECT IF YOU ASK FOR THEIR HELP.

65. LEADERS MUST SHOW COURAGE AND STICK TO THEIR GUNS WHEN THEY KNOW THEY ARE ADHERING TO SCRIPTURE. THIS DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULD EVER BE OBNOXIOUS OR OBSTINATE.

66. DON’T EVER THREATEN, JUST DO. PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW YOU TO BE A PERSON OF CONVICTION AND VALUES AND IF YOU HAVE TO ACT, THEN ACT. DON’T EVER THREATEN TO RESIGN TO MANIPULATE A DECISION. SOMEONE MAY CALL YOU ON YOUR BLUFF AND IF YOU FAIL TO ACT IT WILL RENDER YOUR WORDS MEANINGLESS.

67. PASTORING A CHURCH IS A POLITICAL KIND OF JOB. A PASTOR NEEDS TO KNOW NOT ONLY WHAT SHOULD BE DONE, AND HOW TO DO IT, BUT ALSO WHEN TO CALL ON THE CHURCH TO DO SOMETHING. SOMETIMES WISDOM MEANS BACKING OFF AND WAITING UNTIL ENOUGH PEOPLE ARE CONVINCED AND READY.

68. HOLDING ONTO PRINCIPLE, ESPECIALLY BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE, IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN HOLDING ONTO ANY JOB.

69. BE TRANSPARENT, ADMIT WEAKNESS, APOLOGIZE WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN WRONG. BEING A PUBLIC REPENTER DOESN’T THREATEN YOUR MANHOOD, PASTORAL AUTHORITY OR RESPECT, BUT REINFORCES IT. NO ONE SHOULD ASSUME THIS IS EASY TO DO.

70. TAKING A VOW OF SUBMISSION, AND KEEPING IT, IS A SIGN OF FAITH AND LOVE. SOMETIMES YOU JUST HAVE TO OBEY EVEN WHEN YOUR PRIDE IS HURT. THE DEMONSRATION OF SUBMISSION IS A WAY OF DISCIPLING OTHERS.

71. THE PEOPLE IN YOUR ORGANIZATION OR STAFF THAT LOSE THEIR TEMPER QUICKLY AND OFTEN, PEOPLE WHO WON’T OWN THEIR MISTAKES, PEOPLE WHO BACKBITE AND RUN OTHERS DOWN, AND PEOPLE WHO WON’T PULL THEIR OWN WEIGHT ARE EMPLOYEES YOU SHOULD LET GO.

FAMILY:

72. WIVES AND CHILDREN USUALLY NEED MORE ENCOURAGEMENT AND MORE PRAISE THAN WE GIVE THEM. GIVE THEM LOTS OF POSITIVE WORDS AND AFFECTION.

73. JUST BECAUSE YOUR WIFE DOESN’T LIKE ONE OF YOUR DECISIONS, OR SEEMS TO QUESTION YOUR RIGHT TO LEAD, DOESN’T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO ABDICATE THAT LEADERSHIP. WHEN YOU DON’T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE YOUR WIFE, IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO PRAY.

74. ONE OF THE BEST THINGS YOU CAN DO FOR YOUR CHILDREN IS TO LOVE THEIR MOTHER IN WAYS THEY CAN SEE AND HEAR. NEVER SAY A BAD WORD AGAINST HER TO THEM OR ANYONE ELSE. TEACH YOUR CHILDREN EARLY, I SAY EARLY, TO RESPECT THEIR MOTHER AND TO NEVER LIFT A HAND AGAINST HER.

75. AS THEY SAY, “IF MOMMA AIN’T HAPPY AIN’T NOBODY HAPPY.” SO TRY TO KEEP HER HAPPY.

76. ONCE AT A LECTURE A CHILD PSYCHOLOGIST TAUGHT US TO REFRAIN FROM GIVING OUR CHILDREN NEGATIVE LABLES OR PEJORATIVE NICKNAMES. IT WAS GREAT WISDOM.

77. WE TIRED HARD TO NEVER ALLOW THE WORD “SHUT-UP” TO BE USED IN OUR HOME, BETWEEN US AND OUR CHILDREN, OR BETWEEN THEM. IT HELPED KEEP PEACE IN OUR HOME.

78. IF YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER, WHEN SHE TURNS 13 SHE MAY BEGIN TO ACT LIKE SHE HATES YOU. DON’T TIGHTEN THE RULES TO CHANGE HER. WHEN SHE NEEDS YOU TO PAY FOR COLLEGE OR THE WEDDING SHE WILL COME AROUND.

79. DON’T LET THE OPPOSITION DIVIDE THE LEADERSHIP, DON’T LET YOUR CHILDREN PLAY YOU AGAINST YOUR WIFE. YOU WILL NEED A UNITED FRONT IF YOU WANT TO PRESERVE ORDER IN YOUR HOME. NEVER UNDERCUT EACH OTHER’S PARENTAL AUTHORITY.

80. FAMILIES WORK BETTER WHEN DISCIPLINE AND RULES ARE CONSISTENT, SO DON’T PLAY FAVORITES. BUT GIRLS DON’T USUALLY REQUIRE AS MANY BEATINGS AS THE BOYS.

81. WHEN IT COMES TO RAISING CHILDREN, IT MAY SEEM AS IF YOU GO DAYS AND WEEKS WHERE ALL YOU SEEM TO SAY IS, “NO.” WORK HARD ON FINDING WAYS TO SAY, “YES” TO THINGS THAT BRING SOME HAPPINESS.

82. HOMES SHOULD BE FULL OF LAUGHTER, MUSIC, LOYALTY, AND PRIDE. WORK ON IT.

83. REMEMBER THAT GROWN CHILDREN MAY STILL BREAK YOUR HEART AND SEEM TO SUDDENLY TURN AGAINST YOU IN BITTERNESS. IF THEY FAIL AT THEIR JOB OF RESPECTING YOU, DON’T FAIL IN YOURS TO LOVE AND PRAY FOR THEM.

84. AT SOME POINT CHILDREN MUST OWN THEIR OWN DECISIONS AND SINS. YOU MUST LET THEM; IT IS WHAT MADE YOU AN ADULT. ENABLING STUPIDITY NEVER MADE ANYONE SMARTER.

85. NO MATTER HOW OLD YOUR PARENTS ARE, OR HOW FRUSTRATED THEY MAKE YOU WITH THEIR HABITS AND OPINIONS, THEY ARE NOT CHILDREN SO STOP TREATING THEM THAT WAY. IF YOU ARE TEMPTED TO YELL AT THEM OR HURT THEM, GET CONTROL OF YOURSELF AND REMEMBER WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.

86. THERE ARE NOT TOO MANY BETTER MOMENTS THAN JUST HOLDING MY WIFE’S HAND OR HAVING A LONG CONVERSATION WITH HER ON A ROAD TRIP.

SPIRITUALITY:

87. THE PASTOR WHO DISCIPLED AND RAISED ME DRILLED INTO MY HEART THE NECESSITY OF HAVING DAILY DEVOTIONS OR A QUIET TIME. HE WAS RIGHT, IT WAS INVALUABLE ADVICE.

88. I READ A CHAPTER FROM THE BOOK OF PROVERBS EVERYDAY FOR THAT DAY OF THE MONTH. I’M STILL LEARNING WHAT I SHOULD HAVE ALREADY REMEMBERED.

89. NO MATTER HOW OLD WE GET WE HAVE TO STAY OPEN TO CORRECTION AND TRY TO PROFIT FROM IT. WISDOM DOESN’T JUST COME FROM GETTING OLD. NO FOOL LIKE AN OLD FOOL.

90. IF YOU ARE NOT GETTING ENOUGH OF WHAT YOU NEED FROM YOUR WIFE, CHILDREN, CHURCH, JOB, OR LIFE THEN GET IT FROM CHRIST. HE IS WHERE YOU SHOULD HAVE GONE FIRST WITH THE NEEDS OF YOUR HEART ANYWAY.

91. WHEN YOU STRUGGLE TO KNOW WHETHER YOU SHOULD READ AND STUDY MORE THEOLOGY VERSUS PHILOSOPHY, CHOOSE CHRIST ABOVE BOTH.

92. IF YOU SEEK TO BE GREAT THAN BE THE LEAST. TO LIVE WE MUST LEARN TO DIE TO OURSELVES, THE PATH TO GLORY HAS ALWAYS BEEN ALONG THE PATH OF SERVING AND MAKING OURSELVES LAST. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE HARD, THAT’S WHY IT’S CALLED DYING.

93. PAY MORE ATTENTION IN THE DAYS YOU HAVE LEFT. WE’VE ALREADY MISSED THINGS WE SHOULD HAVE APPRECIATED WHEN WE FIRST SAW OR HEARD THEM. SEEK BEAUTY IN WORDS, SIGHT, SOUND, AND THOUGHT.

94. DON’T HOLD ON TO GRUDGES AND DON’T THINK ABOUT WAYS TO GET EVEN WITH PEOPLE. LEAVE THE PEOPLE WHO HURT AND FAIL YOU TO GOD. HE IS THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE AND IS MUCH BETTER AT IT THAN YOU.

95. UNLESS YOU MUST PROTECT OTHERS AND RESTRAIN EVIL IT IS BETTER TO BE KILLED THAN TO KILL. EACH PERSON HAS TO DECIDE IF THEY WILL TRUST GOD WHEN THEY ARE SMACKED ON THE CHEEK, EACH INCIDENT REQUIRES ITS OWN FAITH. SEEKING TO PRACTICE NON-VIOLENCE REQUIRES ADVANCE COMMITMENT.

96. THE LONGER YOU LIVE THE MORE OF YOUR OWN MISTAKES THERE ARE TO REMEMBER. FIX WHAT YOU CAN, BUT WHEN YOU BELIEVE JESUS FORGIVES YOU THEN REALLY BELIEVE IT AND FORGIVE YOURSELF.

97. GO TO CHURCH AND TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO CHURCH AS LONG AS THEY ARE IN YOUR HOUSE. GIVE THEM A CULTURE, A HERITAGE, AND A MEMORY. TEACH THEM THE DOCTRINES OF OUR HOLY RELIGION WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG. WAITING UNTIL CHILDREN ARE GROWN TO GIVE THEM RELIGIOUS CHOICES IS A BAD SPIRITUAL CHOICE.

98. IT STILL TAKES FAITH, RISK, AND SACRIFICE TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL. KEEP THINKING ABOUT HOW TO DO THAT WHILE YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH TO DO IT. THE NATURAL SLOWING DOWN OF LIFE WILL DECEIVE YOU INTO THINKING THAT DYING SOULS DON’T NEED OUR URGENCY.

99. FRIENDSHIP REQUIRES CULTIVATION SO CARE FOR YOUR OLD FRIENDS, AND AS THEY LEAVE US BEHIND FOR HEAVEN BEFRIEND THE YOUNG, IF THEY WILL ACCEPT IT.

100. LIFE IS ABOUT EARNING A EULOGY NOT DRESSING UP A RESUME. WHAT WILL OUR CHILDREN SAY ABOUT US, OUR CHARACTER, OUR LOVES AND PRIORITIES? WHAT WILL THEY SAY ABOUT OUR FAITH? HAVE WE LIVED SO THEY HAVE SEEN CHRIST? AS OUR TIME FOR AFFECTING THEIR OPINION DRAWS SHORT WE NEED TO PREPARE FOR HEAVEN BY RESTING IN CHRIST. WE ALL NEED TO DO A LOT MORE OF THAT.
